Cultural Safety is a Philosophy of Practice based about how a health professional does something, not [just] what they do….. 

Cultural safety represents a philosophical shift from providing care regardless of differences to care that takes account of people’s unique needs…..

This is a Professional Development opportunity aimed at Clinical Champions of all disciplines from each of the Cancer, Emergency Department, Cardiology and Renal Directorates involved in supporting the Aboriginal Torres Strait Islanders Health Practioners.


Workshops are delivered by Cultural Respect Training Consultants and will be held at the:

Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia

220 Franklin Street, Adelaide South Australia


It is planned that a repeat of this day will occur at a later date this year. 
Future dates will be advertised on Learning Central and via email to the appropriate CALHN Nursing DL's.
