Level 2 Registered Nurse Professional Development Day
Audience:
Open to all CALHN Level 2 Registered Nurses - must already be reclassified as a level 2
Learning Intentions:
At the completion of this Program participants are anticipated to be able to:
- Describe their role and responsibilities as a level 2 RN (CN and ANUM);
- Understand leadership and mentoring in nursing
- Maintain a Portfolio aligned with NSQHS standards
- Commence a Quality Improvement Project (QIP)
- Improve communication in challenging situations
Details of the Program:
- Complete pre-program material prior to attending
- Attend Professional Development Day (PDD - full day)
- Complete a Quality Improvement
Provision of post PDD support for participants with new knowledge, skills, QI completion and upload will be provided from Central and Program Nurse Educators and Quality Co-ordinators.
