Central Nursing Education is offering all Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) staff with an opportunity to comply with CALHN Annual Practical Assessments across both the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.                  

Manual Task Practical and Basic Life Support Practical sessions will run concurrently with a starting time of 1400 and 1430, you will need to book into your session/s (see links below).  

Please don't be late to your session as you will be turned away and will need to rebook at the next available.....

                                                           (1400 session no longer offered at TQEH) 

                              1430 session - Inpatient Care - Slide Sheet insertion & Patient Repositioning

                             Please Note: the BLS practical assessment also includes

                              Infection Control Assessments relevant to your role and scope of practice                          

                             Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)- 'Donning and Doffing' (All Clinical Staff) 
                             Aseptic Technique Practical - 'Scrub the Hub' (Nursing and Medical Staff)
