We invite to you to come on a journey to learn about care through the eyes of Aboriginal patients. The aim of this course is to provide CNARTS staff with the local history of Kaurna Country and show how First Nations’ knowledge and cultural protocols can be applied in the clinical setting to improve care. The course will introduce you to CNARTS Aboriginal Health Team, what the various roles are and what we are trying to achieve. More specifically, we will explore the impacts of Colonisation upon health and provide tools to decolonise clinical care to improve health care.
