Summary: This online module provides information for workers working in clinical and non-clinical areas at low risk of exposure to cytotoxic drugs and related wastes, including but not limited to: 

Target audience: clinical staff, maintenance personnel, stores/procurement personnel, cleaners, on-site waste transporters, couriers and porters, waste handlers, patient transport personnel.  This includes staff who administer oral cytotoxic drugs, transport or store cytotoxic drugs; handle cytotoxic waste; transport and dispose of waste; or clean up spills.

Learning outcomes: To provide an understanding of the possible health risks associated with exposure to cytotoxic drugs and related waste, how exposure can occur, and the precautions required when handling cytotoxic drugs and related wastes.

Frequency required for completion: at orientation and once every two years or if changes occur to the task/role
